Ukraine Tourist Visa For UAE Residents

Requirements For UAE Nationals:

UAE citizens do not require a visa to enter Ukraine for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. The passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Ukraine along with hotel booking, travel insurance and return proof of ticket during the visit.

Requirements For UAE Residents:

1. Passport and UAE Residence Visa.

  • Valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission.
  • Passport should be issued within the previous 10 years and containing at least 2 blank visa pages.
  • The original and copy of passport with the UAE residence visa must be submitted.
  • UAE residence visa validity for at least 3 months from the date of application submission.
  • Copy of valid UAE Residence visa.

2. Filled in and printed visa application form.

3. One recent coloured photograph

  • Must be a clear copy, high-resolution, white background and not older than 6 months.
  • Passport size should be 4.5cm×3.5cm in width.

4. No-objection letter (NOC) from employer or sponsor

  • A letter from the UAE Company must be original (signed & stamped).
  • Letter must include employee’s position, start date of employment, salary details and guarantees that the employee will return to his/her country and workplace after his/her travel.
  • Must be dated not older than a month.
  •  It must have the company’s full contact details (i.e. physical address and telephone/fax numbers, email/website).
  • If the applicant is the owner or partner of the company, a copy of the trade license is required.

5. Applicants under the sponsorship of a husband/father/mother/wife/employer visa***

  • Originally signed Sponsorship letter (issued by the sponsor***, it must confirm the travel dates, exact purpose of travel, relationship, details of the applicant and financial undertaking). Sponsor’s residential address in the UAE and contacts details must be indicated in the letter.
  • Passport and UAE residency visa copy of the sponsor.

6. Invitation letter from Ukraine.

  • Notarized Original and copy of Invitation letter from Ukraine.
  •  If inviting person is a Ukrainian, copy of Internal passport with the registration
    stamp in Ukraine or Ukrainian ID/Residence permit with residency proof should be provided.

7. For Ukrainian Spouse below additional documents are required.

  • Original Marriage Certificate attested from the Ukrainian Consulate/Embassy in UAE.
  • The marriage Certificate must be legally translated into Ukrainian language and attested from the Ukrainian Consulate/Embassy in UAE.
  • Passport copy of the Ukrainian Spouse (internal passport copy with the registration stamp in Ukraine).

8. For MINORS (below the age of 16).

8.1For minors travelling with both the parents, the following documents
are required:

  • A copy of the birth certificate (in English) is required to be attached to the visa
    application.
  • Copy of parent’s passport and UAE residency visa.

8.2 Minor Travelling with one Parent or Both Parents are not travelling with the minor:

  • A copy of the birth certificate (in English) is required to be attached to the visa application.
  • A consent letter must be signed at a Notary by either parents or the parent giving the consent for the child to travel.

9. Travel insurance policy to cover Ukraine and the period of stay (the policy should provide a minimum of €30 000 or equivalent coverage).

10. Proof of financial means / Bank Statements

  • Applicant’s up to date 3 months original bank statement/originally stamped statement by the bank. (You must have sufficient financial resources to cover your cost of living in Ukraine, as a rule, an amount of $100 per day is considered sufficient).

11. Ukraine and Other Visa

  • Photocopies of previous Ukraine Visa/s (if any) must be provided.
  • Photocopies of valid USA, Japanese, Schengen, UK and/or Canada Visa/s (if any) must be provided.

12. Standard processing time is approximately 10 working days.

13. Urgent processing time is approximately 5 working days. 

Important Notes:

  • Application can only be submitted 3 MONTHS or closer to the date of intended travel to Ukraine. 
  • Application must be applied “In-person” by the applicant (Except for minors under 18 years old). A notarized authorization letter is required in case sending a representative to apply in applicant’s behalf.
  • For family applications a copy of bank statements, air ticket, hotel booking, insurance, invitation, etc. must be attached in each application.
  • For Cabin Crews and Pilots, they can withdraw the passport after 3 working days directly from the Consulate.
