Requirements For UAE Residents:

  • Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages and all old passports if any.
  • Residence Visa with minimum validity of 6 months.
  • Emirates ID Copy.
  • 2 recent colour photographs.
  • 2 completed and signed visa application forms.
  • Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 3 months with bank seal.
  • Return Air Tickets.
  • Hotel Reservation.
  • Travel Insurance.
  • Approval letter (commonly known as Invitation Letter, LOI) issued by State Migration Service of Turkmenistan (SMST), which assures granting a visa, regardless of its type.
  • In case of tourist visa, only Turkmenistan national tourism agencies are eligible to act as Counterpart.
  • Once LOI is obtained, visa might be stamped at any Turkmenistan Embassy or Consulate General abroad or on arrival at the border crossing points of Turkmenistan including international airports.
  • The processing time is 5-10 working days.

Monument Arch of Neutrality
The history of the Monument of Neutrality, initially named as the Arch of Neutrality, started with the gaining an international status of permanent neutrality by Turkmenistan on 12 December 1995. Thus the 50-th session of the UN General Assembly declared Turkmenistan a neutral state, conducting a policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states and non-involvement in any military armed conflict.
