UAE citizens can visit Thailand without a visa through the Visa Exemption Program. A citizen of the UAE can stay in the country for up to 30 days as a tourist and can extend their permit to stay for a further 30 days at any local immigration office. This allows Emirati travellers to enjoy Thailand for up to 60 days.
To enter, ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your stay and have a return or onward ticket ready. You may need to provide proof of accommodation and sufficient funds (around 10,000 THB per person or 20,000 THB per family). While travel insurance isn’t mandatory, it’s highly recommended. Be prepared for routine customs checks and to explain your purpose of visit to Thai immigration officials upon arrival.

Ko Phi Phi
