U.A.E. citizens enjoy visa-free access to Hong Kong and Macao, both Special Administrative Regions (SAR) of China, for up to 30 days. To enter, they must have a passport valid for 3 to 6 months along with return air tickets, hotel reservations and travel insurance.

  • Passport with validity of minimum 6 months with 2 blank pages.
  • Valid UAE residence visa and Emirates ID.
  • 2 recent passport size photographs with white background.
  • No objection certificate (NOC) from the company.
  • Bank statement with sufficient funds for 3 months original stamp by the bank.
  • Copy of the valid Trade License of the company.
  • Salary slips for the last 3 months.
  • Salary should be more than AED 3500 to apply for Hong Kong Visa (if employed).
  • Ticket Booking.
  • Hotel Reservation (full address, and telephone/fax numbers).
  • Travel Insurance.
  • Proof of the proposed leisure visit to Hong Kong for example receipt of joining a package tour to Hong Kong, itinerary (for leisure visit).
  • Proof of the proposed business visit to Hong Kong for example letter issued by the applicant’s employing company to confirm his/her proposed business activities in Hong Kong, invitation letter issued by a local company, letter issued by a trade body to confirm the applicant’s attendance at trade fairs and exhibitions.
  • Proof of relationship with the local sponsor for family visit.
  • The Hong Kong pre-arrival registration (PAR) is mandatory for all Indian citizens who want to make use of visa-free entry to the city for up to 14 days.
  • The visa processing time is 4 weeks.
