Important Note:

  • Most foreign citizens need visa to enter Cuba. Visas are not refundable and are valid only with the stamp of the issuing The Embassy only issues single entry visa.
  • In the case of tourism purposes, it is mandatory to have a Tourist Card or a Tourist Visa A1. They are not valid for any other purpose than pleasure or recreational activities. Both documents are valid for 90 days after the issuing date and allow 30 days of stay upon arrival (extendable for 30 days more directly in Cuba).
  • Visa process time is 5 to 10 working days from the moment the documentation is in the Cuban Consular Office and the consular fees is deposit confirm in the Bank account Embassy of Cuba.
  • Nationals from Iraq, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Cameroon, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea (Conakry), Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leona, Somalia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan must apply for Tourist Visa A1 which is issued only by a Cuban Consular Office.

Requirements For UAE Citizens:

Emirati citizens do not need a visa to visit the Republic of Cuba and will be granted visa upon arrival. The passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry with hotel reservation, travel insurance and return air tickets.

  • Visa application form filled out in print (data must match exactly with the passport).
  • 1 picture (4 ½ x 4 ½ size).
  • Original and copy of valid passport (no less than 180 days from the entry date in Cuba).
  • Copy of Emirate ID.
  • Valid residence visa of the UAE with minimum validity of 90 days.
  • No objection certificate (NOC) from the company.
  • Salary Certificate from the company.
  • Air Tickets.
  • Accommodation Booking or Hotel Reservation (confirmed for whole stay in Cuba).
  • Certified Affidavit in English (signed and sealed before notary or your consular office) attesting your travel is for tourism purpose only.
  • 3-month bank statement attesting proof of financial capacity to travel and stay in Cuba.
  • Copy of travel health insurance. 
  • Payment of consular fees (only by deposit cash in the Cuban Embassy Account).
  • Copy of receipt deposit cash.
  • The Visa process time is 5 to 10 working days.
