Requirements For UAE citizens

UAE citizens can enter the Republic of Costa Rica without a visa for stays of up to 90 days. The passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry with hotel reservation, travel insurance and return air tickets within the 90 days period.

  • UAE Residence visa valid for at least 3 months.
  • Emirates ID Copy.
  • A completed visa application form.
  • 2 passport size photos with white background.
  • Original no objection certificate (NOC) from the company.
  • Salary Certificate from the company.
  • Air Tickets.
  • Hotel Reservation.
  • Travel Insurance.
  • The processing time for visa is 20-30 days.

  • All air travelers exiting Costa Rica must pay a $29 USD departure.
  • If you hold a valid multiple visa from the United States of America (B1-B2) or Canada or a residence permit of a EU country, you do not need a visa to enter Costa Rica.
  • A visa does not guarantee your entry to Costa Rica, this depends on the immigration officer upon arrival.
