Requirements For UAE Nationals:

Duration of Stay: UAE citizens can enter Belarus without a visa for up to 30 days. Up to 30 days for ordinary passport holders and up to 90 days for diplomatic and official passport holders

Purpose of Visit: The visa-free entry is typically allowed for tourism, business or personal visits.

Entry Points: The visa-free regime is applicable when entering Belarus through the Minsk National Airport. UAE Citizens should ensure that their entry and exit points comply with the visa-free policy requirements.

Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date from Belarus.

Registration: If you plan to stay in Belarus for more than 5 business days, you are required to register your stay with the local authorities (Immigration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus). Most hotels handle this registration for their guests.

Requirements For UAE Residents:

1. Filled application form

  •  The form must be filled in completely, no blank spaces should be left.
  • Answers to the questions of the visa application form and attachment to it must be complete and logically consistent and indicate the real purpose of the trip.
  • If a question does not apply, please type “N/A”.
  • If the answer is no, write “none”.
  • The visa application form for a minor is signed by his or her legal representative filled form in block letters.
  • Incomplete forms will be returned to the applicants unprocessed.

2. One Photo

  • Size 35×45 mm.
  • Full face, against an even light background.
  • High resolution, no corrugation or ink allowed.
  • 70 – 80 percent of the picture placed vertically.
  • 6 months-older photos not accepted.

3. Original Passport valid for at least 6 months.

4. Passport with at least two blank pages intended for visas.

5. Resident visa UAE (valid for at least 3 months).

6. Applicant’s original bank statement/originally stamped statement by the bank for the last 3 months. (You must have sufficient financial resources to cover your cost of living in Belarus, as a rule, an amount of $150 per day is considered sufficient).

7. Hotel Reservation.

8. Air Tickets.

9. No-objection certificate or letter (NOC) from employer or sponsor.

10. A consular officer decides about granting an entry visa on the basis of the documents submitted, the results of an interview within 5 working days from the date of application (as a matter of urgency to be within 2 working days).

11. For Employment:

  • A notarized copy of a special permit for employment, issued by an immigration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
  • An employment visa type can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days.
  • Upon arrival to the Republic of Belarus a department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs issues a temporary residence permit and multiple exit-entry visa (if necessary).

12. Visa for participation in sports, cultural, scientific, educational events and trainings:

  • A letter issued by a legal entity in the Republic of Belarus.
  • A letter (verbal note) of an Embassy or Consulate of a foreign state or international organization, accredited in the Republic of Belarus, which contains the information about the applicant and requested visa as participants of the events, organized by this Embassy or Consulate.
  • This visa can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days.

13. Humanitarian programmes:

  • A letter, issued by the Department of Humanitarian Activities of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
  • A letter, issued by a Belarusian humanitarian organization, approved by the Department of Humanitarian Activities of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus or other government authorities of the Republic of Belarus.
  • A humanitarian visa type can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days

Upon the arrival to Belarus, you need to register at the local citizenship and migration office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus within 5 business days

Brest Oblast
The south-western region of Belarus called “the country’s first bastion” is famous for its unique historical sites and natural monuments. Vitebsk Oblast

Vitebsk Oblast is home to unique natural landmarks that include Braslav Lakes National Park famous for hundreds of picturesque lakes and islands and Yelnya Landscape Reserve with some of Europe’s biggest peat bogs and glacial lakes.

Grodno Oblast
The western region of Belarus – Grodno Oblast – is famous for its castles and palaces of renowned European dynasties, magnificent temples of various denominations and the surprisingly picturesque nature. It is home to over 1,500 specimens of history and culture, including the world heritage: the castle complex Mir, the Struve Arc, part of the wildlife sanctuary Belovezhskaya Pushcha… In the ancient town of Novogrudok the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was born. Important events of Belarusian history took place in Krevo. The royal city of Grodno is still a unique architectural pearl of Belarus…

Gomel Oblast
The amazing Belarusian Polesie that covers the modern-day Gomel and Brest regions has been known since ancient times. The Greek historian Herodotus wrote about the mysterious country Nevrida and a big sea located there. Probably it was the flooded Pripyat River Valley or it was really a sea, which is evidenced by seashells and ancient deposits of salts found in these places… The Pripyatsky National Park is known for the wilderness reminiscent of the jungles, unique floodplain oak forests and richest fauna. In the center of the park there is Turov, the oldest East Slavic town. 

Minsk Oblast
Minsk Oblast is the biggest province in Belarus, the only one that borders on no neighboring countries, a region with a great industrial and scientific potential yet featuring a trove of interesting ancient history. The most prominent places of interest in Minsk Oblast include the internationally recognized Nesvizh Palace of the Radziwills family, a Catholic church of the Bernardians in Budslav, the ancient towns of Zaslavl, Borisov, Slutsk, Molodechno, Myadel, the national park Narochansky. At the crossroads of European ways Minsk Oblast has seen major wars and tragic events of the world. Tourists can now remember those events in the Brilyovskoye field near the Berezina River, Khatyn, Trostenets, the Glory Mound, Stalin’s Line… Minsk Oblast is home to the country’s top alpine skiing resorts and Olympic sport training facilities.

Mogilev Oblast
The famous trade route from the Varangians to the Greeks passed through the eastern lands of Belarus centuries ago. The Dnieper, one of Europe’s biggest rivers, was part of this route. Several towns sprung up along the route in the 12th-13th centuries. Among them are Mstislavl (1135), Krichev and Propoisk (Slavgorod) (1136), and Mogilev (1267)… Later on Mogilev Province was greatly fancied by Russian emperors: Catherine the Great gifted local mansions to her favorites, and Nicholas II ordered to set up the General Headquarters in Mogilev during the First World War. The places of interest of the region include wonderful architectural monuments of Mogilev that survived from the imperial times, the 17th-century castle and the unique synagogue in Bykhov, the palace and park ensemble in Zhilichi, Potemkin’s Palace in Krichev, the Holy Assumption Monastery in Pustynki, the ancient Mstislavl, Bobruisk Fortress…
